Коньяк Туркестан от Бахуса

В одном из супермаркетов Алма-Аты (Алматы) был куплен этот коньяк, по цене 2550 тенге за 0,5 бутылку. Это примерно 374 российских рубля (по ценам и курсу на начало августа 2025 г).

Внешне

Бутылка оригинальной формы, смотрится неплохо. Горлышко затянуто пленкой, под ней современная пробка (из синтетики). Смотрим на этикетки.

Главная этикетка, оформлена в стиле... Изображение на медали - видимо сам Бахус... далее - производство с 1948 года. Имя производителя - Bacchus, название - Туркестан, коньягы... две медали, 40% и 0,5 л. Произведено в Казахстане.

Этикетка на обратной стороне бутылки. Тут на казахском и русском такая информация: Казахстанский коньяк трехлетний "Туркестан". Далее идет состав: коньячный дистиллят выдержанный не менее 3 лет, вода подготовленная (исправленная), сахарный сироп, сахарный колер простой I (E150a). Открываем и пробуем

Итак, пробка открывается туго и с характерным чпоком. Наливаем немного содержимого (увы, фотография вышла неудачной)... Но на вид это золотистый напиток (как говорит производитель - Интенсивный золотистый цвет с янтарным блеском). На запах - пахнет коньяком. Ну, главное, на вкус - это коньяк. Однако слегка резкий. Или жгучий. В общем и целом он мне понравился. За свои деньги - неплохо. Рекомендую.

Нюансы

Компания Бахус выпускает достаточно много разных коньяков, и очень похожи на этот - коньяк "Казахстан" и коньяк BACCHUS. Только цены разные... у меня такое подозрение, что это вообще один и тот же коньяк, просто под разными наименованиями, чтобы охватить все ценовые ниши.

Еще есть такой же коньяк "Туркестан" в виде чекушки - 200 мл. По цене его брать невыгодно.

Еще один момент, Бахус еще выпускает и бренди под именем "Туркестан"... не путайте! Ну и конечно есть другие производители алкоголя в Казахстане, которые делают свой коньяк "Туркестан" - но об них как-нибудь в другой раз.

Кто таков Бахус?

Изначально это был завод по производству шампанского - его построили в 1948 году. Производили игристые и марочные вина. Коньяк начали производить в 1974 году, причем использовались как свои, так и импортные коньячные спирты (из Кипра, Франции, Румынии, Болгарии).

Завод быстро завоевал прочные позиции в этом производстве. Но горбачевская антиалкогольная компания сильно ударила по заводу, резко сократив ассортимент и объемы продукции, завод заставили "гнать соки"... После распада СССР завод начал наращивать объемы, следуя конъюнктуре освоили производство и других напитков, водки, к примеру, чачу и другое...
Продукция Бахус достаточно качественная, хоть и не дешевая.

Open and try

So, the cork opens tightly and with a characteristic pop. We pour in some of the contents (alas, the photo turned out unsuccessfully)... But in appearance it is a golden drink (as the manufacturer says - Intense golden color with an amber sheen). To smell - it smells like cognac. Well, the main thing is to taste - it is cognac. However, slightly sharp. Or burning. In general, I liked it. For its money - not bad. I recommend.

Nuances

The Bacchus company produces quite a lot of different cognacs, and they are very similar to this one - the cognac "Kazakhstan" and the cognac BACCHUS. Only the prices are different... I have a suspicion that this is generally the same cognac, just under different names to cover all price niches.

There is also the same cognac "Turkestan" in the form of a 200 ml bottle. It is not profitable to buy it at this price.

Another thing, Bacchus also produces brandy under the name "Turkestan"... do not confuse! And of course there are other alcohol producers in Kazakhstan who make their own cognac "Turkestan" - but we will talk about them some other time.

Who is Bacchus?

Initially, it was a champagne factory - it was built in 1948. They produced sparkling and vintage wines. Cognac production began in 1974, and both domestic and imported cognac spirits (from Cyprus, France, Romania, Bulgaria) were used.

The plant quickly gained a strong position in this production. But Gorbachev's anti-alcohol campaign hit the plant hard, sharply reducing the range and volume of products, the plant was forced to "drive juices" ... After the collapse of the USSR, the plant began to increase volumes, following the market situation, they mastered the production of other drinks, vodka, for example, chacha and others ...

Bacchus products are of fairly high quality, although not cheap.
